Stengård Church: Vilhelm Wohlert, 1962, Bagsværd
The church was locked, so we could only appreciate it from the outside (where despite the sun, it was really cold and windy)
Not sure what this is, but it was a block away from Stengård Church next to the train station
Next was Bagsværd Church, Jørn Utzon, 1968.
I’ve seen lots of pictures of the sanctuary at Bagsværd, but was totally surprised by the rest of the building. You’ll notice that I have not included any photos of the sanctuary. This is partly because there was a choir practicing and I felt sheepish taking photos of them, but also because the rest of the building seldom gets much attention!
